MC Magic is a Mexican American rapper, songwriter and record producer, known for rapping and singing, both in English and Spanish. In 1990, he established Nastyboy Records to showcase his productions and talent.

He issued his first hit single “Lost in Love” in 1995. Later that year he released his first full-length album, “Don’t Worry,” which helped him recruit rappers Zig Zag and Dos who formed the Nastyboy Klick.

With MC Magic’s production touch, the Nastyboy Klick issued their debut album, “The First Chapter” which in 1997 spawned a number of regional hits, particularly “Down for Yours” featuring Roger Troutman, which peaked at #69 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart. In 1998 their second album, “Tha Second Coming,” was released featuring the hit single, “Lost in Love.”

By the beginning of the new millennium the members renamed themselves the NB Ridaz, short for Nastyboy Ridaz, As NB Ridaz, their debut album “Invasion” was released in 2001. The first single from the album, “Runaway” entered the Billboard Hot 100, and also made the Rhythmic Top 40.

Their 2004 second album, “,” featured the single, “So Fly” which broke into the Billboard Hot 100, and charted on the Rap, R&B and Rhythmic Top 40 charts. A follow up single “Notice Me” also reached the Billboard Hot 100, receiving more airplay than previous tracks. “Pretty Girl” also charted on the Billboard Rhythmic, R&B and Rap charts as well.


NB Ridaz disbanded in 2006.

Having been the motor behind NB Ridaz’s undertakings, MC Magic was primed to release his second solo album in 2006. The album, “Magic City,” peaked at #1 on Billboard’s Top Heatseekers Albums chart and at #60 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

MC Magic’s new found success as a solo artist motivated him to continue his successful run, with his follow-up album “Magic City, Part II” which was released in 2008. “Magic City Part II” featured guest appearances from Baby Bash, Too Short, Chingo Bling, Big Gemini and DJ Kane of the Kumbia Kings. “Magic City, Part II” peeked at #6 on Billboard’s Top Heatseekers Albums chart and contained hit songs such as “Princesa,” “Girl I Love You” and “The Only 1.”

MC Magic issued his fourth solo album, “The Rewire,” in 2011, which featured guest appearances by Snow Tha Product, Twista, The late Jenni Rivera, Paula DeAnda, DJ Kane, Mrs. Krazie, Sophia Maria & his new group Mob Fam


MC Magic issued his fifth solo album, “Million Dollar Mexican,” in 2014, while some people immediately took the title to be a selfish boast about personal wealth, the true meaning behind the title is about having a sense of Pride in yourself. The album featured guest appearances by GT Garza, Big Gemini, Baby Bash, Baeza, Mexican Superstar C-Kan & Tino Cochino


MC Magic also was the host of his own morning radio show in his hometown of Phoenix, AZ. “Magic City Radio” could be heard on Power 98.3 every morning.


MC Magic also finds time to hit the stage and perform. Since 2006 he has maintained a schedule in excess of 100 live performances & appearances annually


With no sign of slowing down, he is anxious to see what’s next…maybe acting…maybe politics!!
